Dr. Sabyasachi Mahanta, M.A, M.Phil, Ph.D

An eminent academician and a renowned writer, Dr. Sabyasachi Mahanta is a professor of Political Science. He is a Gold Medalist from the University of Poona. He was awarded the Ph.D in Human Rights by Dibrugarh University, Assam. He has an extensive body of work spanning from human rights issues to contemporary socio-political questions. Dr. Mahanta has published widely in various national and international journals, and, has authored and edited several books. He regularly contributes commentaries and columns to regional as well as national forums. He is also associated with several social causes.
