The Department of Education is one of the oldest departments, established in the year 1964 with one temporary teacher.  At present the department has 4 Ph.D.  faculty members disseminating and imparting knowledge and assisting the students in the learning process.

Gyanam : The department of education has been publishing its wall magazine Gyanam for the last 7 years to provide the students an opportunity for their self expression in the form of poems, short stories ,articles etc and also to engage them in utilising their leisure time purposefully .
